I believe that the lessons you learned and applied as a 10-year old with the simple task of “building a fort” can be applied to launching the company you always wanted to. By orienting your mental framework as a 10-year old and focusing on the leap and those first critical steps, I posit that you will place yourself in a better position. I will break down my personal fort-building experiences and use them as an analogy related to my journey of building MapQuest as well as The Startup Factory
