Rachel's road to social media maven-hood grew out of her life in food. A longtime service industry veteran and avid consumer of and contributor to the online cultural conversation, she naturally grew into the role of communications manager and strategist during her tenure working for chefs like Hugh Acheson and Whitney Otawka. Now at the helm of the fundraising arm for nonprofit Community Connection of Northeast Georgia — where she pilots annual fundraisers like Taste of Athens and the annual ramen cook-off, The Noodle Bowl — she's thrilled to continue working with chefs, media and online brand strategy while no longer having to wear Danskos.
