John's passion for people and performance springs from his tireless pursuit of creative projects. He co-founded an internationally touring theater company, which has performed and conducted workshops from Northern Europe to the Balkans and domestically for numerous cultural institutions and colleges. In East Africa, he has worked with writers, public health practitioners and cultural theorists collaborating on social cohesion projects in the region. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Performance and a Master of Arts in Aesthetics and Politics from the California Institute of the Arts.
